Is koalafxltd.com a scam? Our team of fraud investigators are issuing a warning against the fraudulent investment website, Koala FX Ltd (koalafxltd.com & koalafxcompany.com). Victims have approached Cybertrace sharing stories that the scammers operating the Koala FX Ltd website are using typical investment scam techniques. Like almost all investment scams, everything is great in the beginning. Trades are happening, and with the advice and assistance of the supposed “account manager”, good profits are being made! Only when the victim wants to make a large withdrawal, do things start going south and they make it as hard as possible to recover your money.

Is koalafxltd.com a scam?

In short, yes it is a fraudulent investment website, also known as a scam! But let’s look at some of the red flags which indicate that despite the website name referring to one of Australia’s favorite native animals, it should not be trusted.

Victims of this scam have let our team know, that these fraudsters were previously operating the scam website, metalglobe (mt5crm.cc). The scammers have since moved on to their new website, koalafxltd.com.

Red Flags

The Koala FX Ltd website lists the company name of Koala FX Limited which the website claims to be operated by. At first it seems legit. When our investigators searched international corporate databases and open source records for the company name, it was actually confirmed as a registered company. Is the website is linked to a legitimate and registered company?

No. Upon further investigation, it was revealed that the UK company, Koala FX Limited with company number 12196612 operates a film production firm. According to UK Government’s Companies House listing, the company was founded in 2019 by Menelaos Pampoukidis. No information was revealed to suggest that Menelaos or his company are linked to the scam website, koalafxltd.com. The Koala FX Ltd scammers are likely impersonating a registered and unrelated company to appear legitimate. Unfortunately, this is a common tactic used with fraudulent investment websites so when someone does try to validate the company, their searches confirm the company does exist.

Like most scam websites, the site is also completely faceless. No individuals, staff members, or owners are listed either on the website or on any social media platforms. This is where we come in.
