These scammers contact potential victims via WhatsApp or other messaging platforms, offering them the position of “App Growth Specialist”. The job description sounds tempting:
“Help developers improve their mobile applications so that more organic downloads will occur for their apps.”
Victims are told they will be given three cycles of 40 apps to work on every day, with the promise of a hefty paycheck. To make their offer seem more convincing, the scammers even provided a fake certification from the British Assessment Bureau. But here’s the truth: while Airnow is a legitimate company, au-airnow.com is nothing more than a fake website designed to steal your money and personal information.

As an “App Growth Specialist” in this scam, the victims are told that their responsibilities include helping improve the market performance of apps and collecting data from a growing community in Asia.
The scammers sweeten the deal by promising high hourly wages, ranging from $150 to $350 per hour. They say that you can work just 45 to 90 minutes a day and make money quickly, either daily or weekly.

I first received a message randomly on WhatsApp: and so I had to do 40×3 sets of tasks I had to submit every day. And I made about £300 profit after 4 days and on the 5th day which was supposedly salary day I got a thing called multiple promote where it puts your balance on negative and you have to deposit money to put it back on positive and finish the order. And so on the 5th day after I got the 700USDC it wouldn’t let me withdraw it and I had to finish the set of orders. Halfway through I got multiple promote and put me to -1800USDC and I just couldn’t bring myself to do it because I knew something was up with it. In the end I ended up gaining money because the bonuses I made I withdrew so I didn’t pay the 1800 USDC and I’ve just left it.

Hij kwam met van alles behalve dat hij die 23$ wilde sturen toen wist ik genoeg.

Then I spoke with someone (Simon +44 7414 296117) that informed the name of the company and the job description: “PIXELETTE is an international app marketing company made up of experts who specialize in optimizing apps. We help developers boost their app rankings on both the Play Store and App Store.
Once you start, you’ll have your own Workbench account for your tasks. The company works with apps like Instagram, WeChat, and YouTube. Your job will be to click on orders to help improve their rankings and ratings. Each day, you’ll have 3 sets of tasks, with 40 orders to click and submit for each set.”
He gave these salary rates that immediately raised high suspicious that they are too good to be true but I decided against my instincts and started to go ahead:
“1st a daily commission of around 50 to 200 USDT after completing your daily tasks.
2nd a basic salary on the 5th, 15th, and 30th of the month:
800 USDT or £618.88 on the 5th day,
1,500 USDT or £1,160.39 on the 15th day, and
3,800 USDT or £2,939.66 on the 30th day.
totals 6100 USDT within 30 days of work”.
All I had to do was to press submit, meaning to rate some apps, 40 in total, in 3 separate sessions. Nothing complicated so far, but the trick was to submit 100 USDT on their platform to get the commission. I have started with around 70 USDT received after doing a training on a mentor account but I had to top up(from my card) to 101usdt to be able to do the same on my account. After each session I had to withdraw the money in my Coinbase account, and this it gives you a sense of security that you had the money in your acc.
1 in 3 session had a combo type of rating, where your account becomes negative and you have to top up (around $80) to get a higher commission and then the money will be unblocked and then able to be withdrawn again. Sometimes there are 3 apps that can be in combo and the amount that needs to be added, on top of original 101, another 150, so by the end of a session you can finish by withdrawing up to 250usdt.
I have done this 4 days in a row. On the 5th day I have only done the first session, but I was afraid to carry on and to the second session. I have read here that many people got the 800 payment once they deposited their 100 and they started the session with 900. Unfortunately, they don’t allow you to withdraw your balance in the middle of the session. I have asked the Customer Support(CS) and they could not guarantee me that I won’t get the payment once I will deposit the 100 and they said that I could withdraw the “salary” in the middle of the session although in their terms this is not an option. I don’t want to risk it so I think I will stop here. I don’t like this type of business, even if it will be legit but so far, the name is inconsistent with the original, I don’t have any contracts, I don’t like the idea that I have to pay from my own money to make money.
