Fake App Growth Specialist Job – au-airnow.com

Are you looking for a lucrative job opportunity that promises high hourly wages and the freedom to work remotely? Beware of the latest job scam targeting unsuspecting job seekers: the fake job of an “App Growth Specialist.” Scammers are luring victims with promises of easy money, counterfeit certificates, and false claims of working with a reputable company called Airnow. Let’s uncover the truth behind this scam. This website is an impersonation of the legitimate website, airnow.com, and the au-airnow.com scammers are operating the fake site, au-airnow.com.

The Job Offer

The au-airnow.com scammers approach victims via WhatsApp or other communication channels, offering them a job as an App Growth Specialists. The job description sounds appealing: “Help developers improve their mobile applications so that more organic downloads will occur for their apps.” The au-airnow.com scammers claim to be from the legitimate company, Airnow, and provide them with 3 cycles of 40 apps to work on every day. From our research, Airnow is a legitimate company, however, the scammer is impersonating a legitimate company. The true web address for Airnow is airnow.com where the scammers are using a phishing web address of au-airnow.com. From the use of ‘au’ in the web address, it is clear that the au-airnow.com scammers are targeting Australian victims.

The victims are told that to participate in the program, they need to set up a dashboard on Airnow to monitor their daily workloads. They are promised a weekly base salary as well as daily earnings from each mobile application, based on the value of the application. The au-airnow.com scammers even provide counterfeit certificates from the British Assessment Bureau to make their offer seem more legitimate.

Job Tasks and False Promises

The scammers claim that as an App Growth Specialist, the job tasks include improving the market and performance of the applications based on demand from applications and production lines. They also claim that a large community in Asia is being created to pool resources and collect data. The victims are led to believe that by signing up for the dashboard and boosting apps, they can earn money easily.

The au-airnow.com scammers entice victims with high hourly wages ranging from $150 to $350 per hour, with no salary restrictions. They claim that salaries can be taken daily, weekly, or even monthly. They also state that the workload will only take 45-90 minutes daily, and training will be provided.

The Truth Behind the Scam

Unfortunately, the reality is that this job offer is a scam. There is no legitimate company called Airnow associated with this job opportunity and the real website airnow.com has no association with these scammers. The au-airnow.com scammers are likely using fake websites and counterfeit certificates to deceive victims. The promises of high hourly wages and easy work are designed to lure victims into providing their personal information, such as bank account details, or paying upfront fees.

In reality, victims who fall for this scam may end up wasting their time and money, providing their personal information to scammers who may use it for identity theft or other fraudulent activities. Victims may also be asked to pay upfront fees for training or other purposes, but they will never receive any legitimate job opportunities or payments in return.

Protect Yourself from Fake Job Scams

To protect yourself from fake job scams like the App Growth Specialist trap, here are some tips:

  1. Research the company: Always research the company thoroughly before accepting any job offer. Check for a legitimate website, contact information, and reviews from reliable sources. Beware of companies that claim to be reputable but have no online presence.
  2. Verify certificates: If the job offer includes certificates, verify their authenticity with the issuing organization. Do not rely solely on the documents provided by the scammers.
  3. Be skeptical of high wages: Be cautious of job offers that promise unusually high hourly wages or salaries. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
  4. Never provide personal information or pay upfront fees: Legitimate employers will never ask for your personal information, such as bank account details, or payment of upfront fees. Be wary of such requests and do not provide any sensitive information without proper verification.
  5. Trust your instincts: If something feels off or too good to be true, trust your instincts and proceed with caution. Don’t rush into accepting a job offer without thorough research and verification.
  6. Check for red flags: Look out for red flags such as poor grammar and spelling in job offers, unprofessional communication, lack of a proper interview process, and pressure to accept the job quickly. These can be signs of a scam.
  7. Report suspicious job offers: If you come across a suspicious job offer or suspect that you are being scammed, report it to the relevant authorities, such as the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) or your local law enforcement agency. By doing so, you may help prevent others from falling victim to the scam.

Don’t Fall for the App Growth Specialist Scam

In conclusion, the App Growth Specialist job offer is a fake job scam designed to deceive unsuspecting job seekers with promises of high wages and easy work. The scammers use counterfeit certificates, false promises, and fake company names to trick victims into providing personal information or paying upfront fees. It’s crucial to be vigilant and do thorough research before accepting any job offer.

Remember, legitimate job opportunities will not ask for your personal information or payment of upfront fees. If something seems too good to be true, it’s likely a scam. Trust your instincts, do your due diligence, and report any suspicious job offers to protect yourself and others from falling victim to job scams. Stay informed, stay cautious, and safeguard your job search from fraudulent activities.

Be wary of requests for cryptocurrency payments: In the case of the App Growth Specialist job scam, victims are often required to add credit to their account in the form of TRC-20 USDT cryptocurrency to be eligible for using the job portal. This is a major red flag, as legitimate job opportunities would not require cryptocurrency payments for job-related tasks. Be cautious of any job offer that asks for cryptocurrency payments or any form of unconventional payment methods.

Protect your personal information: Scammers may request personal information such as your social security number, bank account details, or passport information. Be cautious about sharing sensitive information online, especially with unknown entities. Legitimate employers would not ask for such information without proper documentation and a formal hiring process.

Do thorough research: Always research the company and the job offer thoroughly before accepting it. Look for legitimate contact information, such as a physical address and a valid phone number. Check the company’s website, social media profiles, and reviews from reliable sources. If the company or job offer has no online presence or has negative reviews, it could be a scam.

Stay Alert and Report Scams

Scammers are constantly coming up with new tactics to deceive job seekers, and the App Growth Specialist job scam is just one example. It’s crucial to stay vigilant, do your due diligence, and be cautious when searching for jobs online. If you suspect that you have come across a job scam or have fallen victim to one, report it to the relevant authorities immediately to help prevent others from being scammed.

Job scams can have serious financial and emotional consequences, so it’s important to be proactive in protecting yourself and your personal information. Remember to trust your instincts, verify information, and follow the tips outlined in this blog to safeguard your job search from fraudulent activities. Stay informed, stay cautious, and protect yourself from job scams.

I was approached by similar way by another app boosting company.

I was scammed by this company this week operating in Japan.

I received close to ¥70,000 in profit the first 3 days. Ended-up putting-in ¥250,000 on the 4th. Task completion requires ¥390,000 to continue. Anyway to recover ?

I got offered job from this website, it’s exactly the same as you explain from beginning, with TRC 20 crypto channel, where I need to deposit some money in first, luckily, I had withdrew all my money in there
can you please check for this website as well
In Australia, we do have a company with the same name, but the scene like you explain, it’s literally what I encountered so far

    • Cybertrace Team 1 year ago

Hi Agus, yes this is a scam. Unfortunately these scammers do impersonate real company names.

      • Agus Setiawan 1 year ago

my other question is, so, they will not let you withdraw after we deposited some amount of money right?

        • Cybertrace Team 1 year ago

That is correct, once you request a withdrawal they will provide excuses of why you cannot withdraw your funds.

    Canadian here.
Site: softwareag-aim.com reached out to me to join the same game.
Run through a set of 40 “Ads” where you can make a % commission on each. After the 40 are done you must withdraw your funds to a crypto wallet in Binance (I had Binance before, so this didn’t cost me anything).
Then you have to send the site 101 USDT to do another set and repeat. After 3 sets your day is done.
I made a 30 USDT profit on the first day (10 per set).
They started me off with a free 100 to work with, so I haven’t lost any money. They haven’t asked me for any information yet.
The program claims that after you “work” for 5 days you’ll get $800 as a bonus, then $1500 after 15 days, and $3800 after 30 days, and then it repeats.
All communication with the recruiter was done on WhatsApp.
When did they stop sending the earning back to the individual?
When did you guys get asked for information?

PS: I think its a scam, it sounds too good to be true, especially when you’re desperate to get income coming in. I’m just looking for information from the community.

    • Cybertrace Team 1 year ago

Hi Fran, yes we can confirm that it is a scam. Please cease all communication immediately.

      • George 11 months ago

I am on my day two and they are still paying, same 100 bonus same 30$ on first day and now another 30$ on day two.
I think they bet on people greediness to keep rolling their profits and eventually deposit a bigger amount out of pocker to get that 30% a day interest. When you do deposit from your pocket like 1000$, this is when you get blocked an they do not pay you back.
Be careful and don’t be greedy, take the 60$ and run.
The payments are made automatically by a robot, so first two days is safe to take the money and run with no issues.
Clever bastards, I bet they make milions with this scam and police can’t do anything when you pay with crypto.

        • Cybertrace Team 11 months ago

Hi George, we are glad to hear you were not a victim of this scam. Please cease all communication immediately.

Canadian here. Unfortunately My friend just fell victim to this scam. She made slight profits of about $30 – $100 for the first three days and then over the course of the day today she was asked to put incremental amounts which have totalled $2300 usd and she did! Then she is at 39/40 and it is asking her to put another $2300usd to get out what she already put in. It was when she reached out that i started googling and found this thread. the site is http://www.gooddata-platforms.com/

Can you check if they are the real company. Because the infinum company in croatia is real. But this website could use them as a disguise.

I was approached by a similar site recently aimed at UK residents.
They told me to complete 40 tasks , 3 times a day and transfer money in USDT every time when I do the tasks. Looks like a money laundering to me, but somehow they paid me the interest every time. At the moment I am UP with my money like 60% , I think is better to quit now when I’m at the top :))
    The website is https://www.quincus-boost.com/
Anybody else was approached by this? in UK?

I looks like I have been scammed by two different sites, to to tune of over £2300. First one was https://dreambit-app.com/ and the other http://www.chapter-appuk.com/. Everything worked as they said but like others have mentioned after withdrawing the commission all of a sudden large amounts need deposited to contiue the task and withdrwaw. The first one says I need to deposit 3400USDT to complete the tasks and with draw the second has reached 39/40 tasks and wants me to put in more to complete. The exact same thing has happened on both so I stopped and wouldn’t put in any more realising that I had been sucked in to this point.
They even set up Whattsapp groups with so called team members all doing it and talking about how much they are making and how great it is etc. but what I have noticed is this seems to be all staged and probably not real people. All just for my benefit.!

These scammers will allow small withdrawals at first. This is a scam tactic to try and prove legitimacy to gain more funds form their victims. Please do not send any further money to them.

Unfortunately i got scammed by this company. Yesterday was the worst ever in my life i did the job for 5 days because they promise me they will give my first salary on my fifth day while doing app optimization but the thing is they add the salary to my work account which made my asset higher at first i started the work by depositing 50,000yen i finished the first set of task without being negative account i withdraw the money my 50,000yen it became 55000yen afterwards when i received the money in my account i reset the task and deposit again amounting 50,000yen and they deposit to my work account together with my salary 60,000yen for my 5th day it became 112,000 because i also has 2000 bonus for every 50,000 that u deposit that moment im able to do my 2nd set of task its 40/40 while doing it my account became negative 3x 1st negative is 105500yen i make it up because i cannot withdraw my money if i ddnt i deposited it i continued negative again 210,000yen i make it up again because the person that i was talking to the who offered me the job keep on telling me that its norma i just have to make it up ad i was able to get my money afterwards i make it up i deposited 210,000yen i proceed and negative amount again now its 390,000yen
i was so disappointed i really know i was scammed but i was in the middle of wanting to get my money back that time i only have 3 apps to complete i was so desperate to finish the task because i want my money back i dont know what to do i asked my friend to lend me 300,000 just to make it up the person i was talking to also offered me 50,000yen so i only make it up for 340,000yen my heart really beats fast i couldnt take it but all i want is to finish the task for me to have a withdrawal i asked the person if ever il make it up is it sure i cannot have the negative account she said ‘yes of course you can get your money after you finish the task” so i proceed just one click on my 37th apps negative again 799,000yen i relly dont know what to do i really dont have fund anymore to make it up so i decide to ask help from their group chat some offers me help like one of them will lend 200,000 the other one is willing to lend me 100,000 then i have to do the rest but i really dont have fund to make it up so i decided to give up i also talked to their cust serv and they said i cannot withdraw my money unless i make it up and finish the task my task is already 38/40 they its just one more click and im done but how i dont have 800,000
this is ridiculous the total money i deposited was 7550,000yen. Now i dont know what to do im so helpless for what ive done. I hope you can help me back my money i have all the scrrenshots of their bank accounts and all of our transactions their phone numbers. Im hoping and pray that i can still get my money.

So u find the negative more than 3 times ? Because I am in a similar situation and I found the 3 negative and now they assure I need to do that and I won’t find another negative because is just 1-3 times per day but I don’t know if I should believe or what because I am just 2 clicks to finish and I want my money back that’s why … the page is ja-propeller.life can u tell me if it’s the same ?

          • Federico 5 months ago

The negative amount grow unfortunately, also more than three times, it depends how many tasks are missing. Now I’m 40/40 and i have to recharge in order to withdraw but i have fear of that…..until now I could withdraw everything but after I see all this message i do not know.

I am involved in this exact scam in Canada. Company is RC-creative (https://rc-creative-1318024917.cos-website.ap-tokyo.myqcloud.com/#/) They say it’s for product optimization for merchants. You fake buy their products to boost them on Amazon or wherever. But you need to put up your own capital for this, $100usdt for each set. You get it back right away, after doing 45 tasks (1 set). I was “safe” the first 2 days and then day 3 and 4 was fine too. It’s on day five where they add $500 usdt to your account which increases the value of product that you have to “buy” but if you encounter a combo product (which gives you 6x the commission) somehow it puts your platform account into the negative and you have to put more money in to bring it back to $0. Once you do that you get all your money back, so far. HOWEVER, the more money in the platform account, the more expensive the products are that you fake buy and the more chance you have to go in the deep negative and then you need even more money to bring it back to $0. (It’s very confusing to learn and also to explain to others.) Today I got to the point of $-1568usdt and I’m like, I can’t afford to put that much money back in!
So far I’ve put in $1500 of my money but got back $500 in bonuses and commission. I will take my losses and run. I wish I found this website sooner. When I was trying to do research I couldn’t find anything. I saw all the red flags but got greedy and thought I could manage it and quit before I got scammed. Does this type of scammer take your personal information or hack your phone or computer? So far they haven’t asked for any personal info but I did click on their website link so not sure if they have hacked me that way.

I was contacted on WhatsApp by a lady claiming to be from a recruitment agency, if been looking at jobs so didn’t find this suspicious, she asked if she could pass my number onto someone that has some work at home opportunity, I said ok as my partner is home all day so thought it could be something she can do, anyway this new lady contacted me and told me what was involeved and straight away I told her it was a scam but all the website etc looked legit she went through the training with me I didn’t have to put any money upfront I was basically gifted 100 usdt to start my journey with her messaging me all day and teaching me what to do, 1st couple of day were ok I was getting the 100 back plus a small commission and I was putting the 100 back in to start the next task- you was given 3 sets of 40 tasks where all you had to do was click until you finish them which apparently boosts people’s apps, I think it was the 3rd day I encountered a task that said I didn’t have enough funds to continue, I asked my advisor what this was and she said I had received a combination task which was rare and I need to make up the negative amount to complete the task but I get triple the commission, once again I called out scam but was talked round to it being legit, I only needed to pay in about 30 usd so I thought sod it I’ll risk it, I did it I completed the task and got the money back, now my mind was at rest and I’m thinking wow this is not a Scam it really works, after 5 consecutive days of completing tasks they are meant to pay you an extra 800 usd as a bonus so I thought I may well see the 5 days out so day 5 I started my tasks and low and behold I got transferred 800 usd but the platform automatically increased the 100 pay in to 500 so I couldn’t now withdraw it till I finished the next task, on the next task I got another ” rare ” combination and went into a negative of around 341. Stupidity I paid in it cos it happened before and I got the money back but then it happens again and again until now I’ve paid in over 2000 trying to complete the tasks and everytime I get to the end something else happens and they want me to pay in more, currently they are waiting for me to pay in another 2600 which would mean I’ve paid in over 5000 and received noting, I am now broke and feel stupid. Is there anyway I can get my money back? I’m uk based please help thanks

I live in Australia and have just faced the same problem. All the mentioned above happened with me the same way. I still cannot believe how stupid I was as well. Like Amanda said above, I got caught on the 5th day of work and they deposited my weekly salary along with my daily recharge to do the 2nd task. Once I started the second task I was no longer able to finish and had to deposit more and more money. I ended up with an unfinished task which was at around 10K pretty much on hold for the whole week I was work for them.
The scammers are using the Creative Clicks company to catch people under the platform – https://creativeclicks.vip
I have all the conversation history and all their contacts as they added me to a Whatsapp group.
I also still have access to their platform as they are still waiting on me to deposit more money to finish the task so I was just wondering if anything can be done.

I experience the same scam the story is exactly the same cas you describe here.
I loose a lot of money they already comprise my entire family life. don’t know what to do.

I registered for Job online at Robert Half and after 2 days I got a message from WhatsApp saying they are working for Robert Half.
Everything they presented me was weird to be honest because I am not new in the IT world.
I been scamed 2 times the first was with crypto and the second was in Fiat Japanese Yen they already do the same with fiat currency.
For the first I stopped after losing almost 1000 dollars
I was looking for a way to get my money back.

Canadian here. Unfortunately My friend just fell victim to this scam. She made slight profits of about $30 – $100 for the first three days and then over the course of the day today she kept getting asked to put incremental amounts which have totalled $2300 USD and she did! Then she is at task 39/40 and it is asking her to put another $2300 USD to complete her tasks and get out what she already put in plus bonus. It was when she reached out to me for a loan, i was convinced that it’s a scam. she insists that she has been getting back the money she put in everyday since now via Kucoin which is a cryptocurrency platform. I started googling and found this thread. I have advised her not to put in anymore money as i am certain she won’t get it out anymore. The website where she was boosting products on is http://www.gooddata-platforms.com/

I have just been scammed. Just discovered this page after I had sent over 4000 pounds and it telling me to send another 7,700 to continue my task. The site is dreambit-app.com.
Is there anything that can be done to recover my funds?

Hi Rich, I am sorry to hear of this. From checking ScamSleuth (our scam detector) this website is very likely to be a scam. I’ll ask our investigators to contact you via email.

Had scammer reach out a few days ago and I did my due dilligence with the company, and all seemed legit, they even provided training etc. I completed 3 cycles of 40 tasks and made my withdrawal. However, it still didn’t feel right and I’m glad I followed my instincts cos they are impersonating a legit company based in Toronto but “certificate” is from state of California. Plus couldn’t see any app optimisation jobs linked to the genuine company. I was also added to a group chat of other “workers”, so we could support one another and they slipped up twice at this point i.e. my “trainer” used my username on platform to “introduce” me and I checked on some of the pics from those in the group Whatsapp.

Firstly, I only ever gave my user ID to “Customer Service” and I completed reverse-image searches of images and one was of a pro-golfer.

At this point, I ceased all communications, blocked them off whatsapp etc and performed a whole host of checks on my phone to sweep for viruses and upgraded my anti-virus. Still checking now, and it’s been 2 days now since I completed tasks and blocked them.

I was able to withdraw all my USDT from Binance yesterday. I’m lucky cos I made some money (approx £70 GBP).

I’m usually quite savvy (and quite cautious) but I have to admit that cos everything looked legit after a few searches on the internet etc I was almost scammed myself. If it not for my strong spidey-senses then I would have been.

I do feel foolish for having been taken in for as much and as long as I was.

I took a ton of screenshots from “recruiter”, “trainer”, “Customer Service” and group chat members plus from the website itself. It’s still live last time I checked.

Currently dealing with a similar scam. Stuck with over 30k USDT. They are asking me to deposit 5kUSDT to allow me to withdraw my funds, as my score has come down to 12 and needs to be 100 for withdrawals.

    • Cybertrace Team 10 months ago

I am sorry to hear that, I know exactly how you feel. I also live in the UK and has just been scammed for the same kind of “app optimisation job”. They took £3000 from me and they are asking me for £6000 more to get my account balanced to 0. Have you tried to get your money back with the bank? Have you reported it to action fraud? Is the police investigating the case? Have they done something about it? I am trying to get my money back. I feel horrible! I wanted to know if the British police can trace and freeze their crypto wallets?

Another fake! They go by Clutch marketing and even created a user group in whatsapp and make it looks legit.
It makes you deposit in USDT and finish some sort of mobile game promotion. 40 tasks of 3 sets per day and they promise 800 USDT on 5th days but makes you deposit more (Around 1000 USDT) in order to withdraw. This is where I stopped. There is no guarantee they you could get your money back.

    Hey,

I was approached on WhatsApp by a similar scam. I did complete 3 days, got some money from it but then i thought its too good to be true and started to search for this job, then i find this website and i am glad i did. I didn’t get scammed and was lucky, but just feel bad for those ppl who haven’t reached cybertrace in time 🙁

The “job” was taking place on this site: https://upptic-pro.com/#/
    Agents used these phone numbers:
    +8562058037189
    +447475369062
    +447397756057
They even have a Whatsapp group with 36ppl in it, not sure how many ppl are real or fake in that group. These scammers build up this lie pretty well.

saved all the numbers and convos, if I go to the police, but I doubt they will do anything, with most likely throw-away phone numbers

  • Ash 10 months ago

I have been contacted similar to ones seen in replies in the post on whatsapp and create a account on https://www.au-luxoft.com and now after a week https://www.au-luxoft.net is the active site. They deposited 800 USDT on 5 days and then dont allow withdrawals until tasks are done.Progressively the tasks go to higher amounts requiring folks to top up further with the combination funds tasks.I am not inclined to top up any further as the allure to top up more to get our invested money back makes us commit more mistakes.
Anyone has seen this site and can confirm my fears ?
    Thanks

Hi Everyone, I am so pleased I found this page as this sounds the same as what happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I had been job searching and applying so in all honesty thought it was actually something I might have signed up for.

    The website is: http://influencer-workbench.com/

I’ve lost money to this website very recently. Exactly same scenario as others. Using deposited USDT, I was running what they call app optimisation. 3 sets per 40 tasks. On the end you have to withdraw money. It work well for a week. I build up confidence and was depositing more and more. Now I lost all my savings and part savings. So be careful out there. If found an online job on Facebook and I applied. I received a WhatsApp messenger telling me about the job and I had to start with the training.

I start working on a daily task but there was a combination tasks wich I had to solve a negative balance to be able to continue. In one Task I had to add $1.873,5 I solve the combination task then on task 13/50 I had another combination task and I had to add $4.100 en right after I gat another combination task and I had to add $8.347,58 and when i was on my last task 49/50 I had a big combination task asking me to add $17.863,53 en finish the task and withdraw the money to my KuCoin/Binance account.

I told the customer service that I have no money left to finish the task if they can cancel my last task so that I can get my money back but they are not willing to do that , they are telling me to finish my last task to be able to withdraw all the money I have put in including the commissions.

Now, I can’t pay my bills and medical expenses because I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021.

I used the education money for my kids and money I borrowed from my friends/family to finish the task and now all the money are stuck in the platform .

A massive thanks to you guys running this site and not forgetting all the contributors. I was also approached via WhatsApp by a ‘Data provider’ for ‘B6 Digital’, I am in the UK. I believe they obtained my contact details from LinkedIn where I have posted my availability for a new role. I was initially contacted from a US number by Christine who said she was a recruitment consultant for Harvey Nash, a reputable IT recruitment company. I confirmed my interest and was told to expect to be contacted again soon. Today I received a message from David via WhatsApp and was given the job scope and salary structure as others have detailed below. He became a little pushy after several clarification queries from myself. It was at this time I started to have concerns and found you guys! Is markerseven.net scam? I invest 31.0000k in it and i need it back

    • Didou 7 months ago

How did you invest this amount in markerseven.net? As I know this Website is a job site, so you should be payed by them not invest. And they ask you in the beginning to deposit 30 to 40 USDT to top up your account in order to start working “Clicking job” for App optimazation as they claim. Could you please explain?

    https://www.singularitynet-reviews.com/#/
reached out to me to join the same game.
Run through a set of 40 “Optimization App Mission” where you can make a % commission on each.
Have to do only 3 set a days.
They ask for real money deposit. to the suspicious bank account. Don’t know but they seems can make multiple bank accounts from several Japan banks.
Starting minimum deposit from 10,000JPY (about 100 USD), can be level up until 2,000,000JPY (about 20,000 USD) with promise for the bigger percentage of mission profit obviously.
Now, I stuck with around 70,000 JPY on this App, cannot retrieve my money unless I deposit more money to finish the missions. They hide some what they call “combo bonus missions” where you have to put bigger money for bigger return promise :’).
They even have some “Legal Notice” white paper so that the App will looks like more legit.
Yes I got first notice from WhatsApp message who pretend to be some staff from RikuNabi Japan (some site for Job Search in Japan).
She told me her name was Joanna with WhatsApp number +843 7992 6642 (My stupidity to not notice previously that the number “+84” is not even Japan number :’).
Then this “Joanna” introduce me to other person name “Mieko” with Japan number +81 80 8902 4491. This “Mieko” is the one to be like my mentor for the Job.
She even invite to WhatsApp Group “SingularityNET **11” with seemingly filled with fake members, dunno if there are some real victims like me :’)

Please help to uncover this App Scam, and if there any possibility for me to recover my lost money? :’)

I was sent a SMS message, and I stupidly replied to it on WhatsApp, and as I have read on this website my story is pretty much word for word the same. There name was Pelosi and they kept on contacting me everyday and I felt a genuine friendship brewing up, only to realize that it had been a scam, which my brother helped me find out. I was nearing the 40 tasks when I had to pay money to continue, and after I payed and continued more tasks my account went into the negatives. I am extremely mad at myself as I am now in debt and cant pay rent, I really don’t know what to do.

However, since did successfully deposit a profit after first or 2nd day to my bank account. I’m worried still that this might be a “long con”. Do you have any update?

Hi Sharita, I’m sorry to hear that you are in this position. Unfortunately, to investigate and pursue your funds would cost more than you have lost. The money that is ‘frozen’ in your account is in fact in the pockets of the scammers. Their website, platform and proimises are all fake. They won’t give it back unless we can identify them and expose them to law enforcement.

I was approached by people from appguardian with the url https://www.appguardians.shop/index/user/login.html
They told me I could earn commissions by completing 3 sets of 40 tasks per day. Once in a while I’d need to deposit money to cover up a negative balance. They behaved like expected for 4 days. After 5 days I got a bonus of 850 USDT and then I needed to deposit more money to cover up negative balance, because they could “invest” more in each task they said. In the end they made me deposit more than 10K USDT, while they explicitly told me I could withdraw everything after completing the tasks. I couldn’t withdraw it because they came up with excuses that my withdrawal was suspicious, and in the end they froze my account and I needed to deposit another 12032 USDT to unlock it. Is there any way we can “hack” into their wallets to retrieve the money?

I was contacted months ago by a head hunter, they offered me a freelance job at App Guardians.
Some day’s later I was contacted by the recruiter and after a training where I received some starting money.
All seemed OK and there was little commission. It is a fun and seemingly easy job.

But then combinations started to roll in which you need to deposit and it all added up to a substantial amount of USTD.
They said after finishing all 40 tasks you guaranteed get all of your deposits back.
After finishing the last task they froze the account and only when I add the same amount as is available in the balance, they will release my balance and I might be cleared to get it all back.

Everything seems right with the certificates and the logo’s when they contact me.

Please let me know how to get my money back, I did not know back then that this website existed so that’s why I’m posting only just now.

This company recruited me via whatsapp and I had to execute a set of 40 tasks and I get paid in USDC crypto. You have to take out all the funds and recharge your account in order to proceed with the next task. The issue is that as you keep going, you encounter instances where your account goes in the minus and you must Buy more cypto to reload amd continue. If you do not, your funds will remain stuck in there. The more you go, the bigger the recharge amount gets. In the end you will need to raise more and more money to proceed with the tasks or your money gets stuck there forever. I believe this to be scam. I have already invested $15K Canadian and I was about to recharge my account with another $10K when I did more research and came across your website. I have now decided not to proceed and lose the money already invested.

        • Cybertrace Team 6 months ago

          Hi Anthony,

The scammers will commonly send some cryptocurrencies back to you in order to appear as a legitimate platform, and therefore have you invest more funds. This is a common scam tactic and we urge you to cease communication with this platform immediately.

  • Federico 6 months ago

I, I’m talking right now with someone who is using this same method. I played along because as long as I felt like I was not giving them anything I was ok to find out if it was legit.
Now I reached the point where it clearly isn’t. Now I registered to the website https://www.appunite.cc/#/.
I did it because the only personal information that I was asked was my telephone number, and they contacted me via whatsapp so they already had it.
I’m a little worried because now I have realized that I used a code (referral code) during the registration that this person provided me, and it kind of seems like it connected to my account of Bybit (crypto platform).
Now I’m not too much worried because I don’t have any money in it as I just opened an account, but I’m wondering if maybe they have access to some other informations.
Maybe I’ve gone too far? What do I risk?
PS: I can provide more details like the phone number or a description of how it went if it can be useful.
    Thanks

    hello,
I was doing some scam busting too. this is another site:
    https://platform-techfluvius.com/
they encourage you to join a whatsapp community group which is fake users (checked out profile pics which they have ripped from linkedin, facebook etc. Accounts were all business too which is not what one would expect from a user community. I went into this with my eyes wide open knowing it was a scam (I’m an ex banker) so knew the red flags. I was curious as to the language, methods and techniques they use to help prevent others.
    They will show fake deposits
They will credit your accounts on time which will lure you in and build your confidence.
They will show fake lifestyles and benefits
They will use language that is based around faith and religion to present a holy happy vibe
They will show you big gains and you could be part of it.

There is no such thing as free money

  • Umair 6 months ago

I was contacted by a lady and asked if I wanted a online job and I thought it was a scam but anyways I said yes. Next I was contacted by another person described the job app optimization, data provider etc. The job would pay after 5 days, then after 15 days and after 30 days. He trained me and guided me to create USDT wallet, for the training I got around 60USDT and i was asked to pay 40USDT from myself to reset tasks. I was skeptical but went ahead with it anyway and in the end I got it all back plus some profit I completed three sets of tasks and withdrew all the money. In this job I had to reset tasks by sending USDT and then after completing tasks withdraw all the USDT plus profits. I encountered a few combination tasks that would give extra profit, I had to put some of my money but I got it all back. They added me to a group where some of the people were new and were asking questions I was curious about and some were making 3k-5k per day apparently. By the fourth day I had made over 200USDT in profit. I trusted the platform and was full of greed. It should’ve been a red flag that they changed domain and whole look of the website on day 5 after a platform update. The website is poor designed, you can only register with a invitation code. Anyways on 5th day i completed 1st set of tasks, then for resting the tasks I used 100USDT but they also payed me the salary, i had over 950 usdt in my account and i knew if I got a combination task I’ll have to pay over 1,000 usdt, I tried to withdraw but the platform said i can withdraw after completing tasks, i started completing tasks, low and behold I got combination task and my balance was at -1050usdt. I was so full of greed and desperation that I was about to send 1050USDT but my revolut app said that it’s a scam three times before i finally stopped. I knew if i send them 1050 and then If i get another combination task and I’ll have to pay over 2500usdt which will be impossible for me. The same time another person in WhatsApp group was having same problem but she deposited over 1200usdt and then got withdrew her money back, she told how anxious she was and how happy she is now and other members were telling her to trust the platform. My mind started connection the dots. Then next day they texted me on WhatsApp that my rating is now dropped because i have not completed the task for 1 day and they were asking me to give them time when I’ll complete the task. I said I can’t because I have no money. And they threaten to sue me in high court of the city I’m living in (i told the person who recruited me), and said I have to complete the tasks then I can go through resignation I was a bit worried but then I found this website and now I feel much better. Also I made like 100USDT profit lol. I’m happy I didn’t lose anything but I was very close fo losing over €1000. The websites they were using were https://www.conductor-app.vip then on 5th it got “updated” to https://conductor.store

Hi all, I find myself normally quite vigilant with stuff like this so I am feeling like a bit of an idiot. I was approached by a women via text informing someone would contact me via WhatsApp about a job opportunity. The same as I had read down below happened I was told to complete 3 tasks of 40 app developments a day and I would be paid compensation, and 800 usd for every 5 days I checked in. I went back and forth for a few days before finally catching on today and reading this forum and noticing that I was being scammed! I have lost 400 GBP in partaking in this scam and being naive. Very upset however slightly grateful as it could have very easily been a lot more money. If anyone has any advice on how to get my money back or next steps I would be extremely grateful.

    Hi,
There is a new scamming website pretending to be Collaborative Solutions, scamming people around the world on their money. It has a very clever cryptocurrency process included contacting people on Whatsapp offering a part time job and tricking people to register on their website to perform tasks in order to earn money, only to scam people to insert more money and scamming them. Please help in warning people being contacted on Whatsapp and Telegram offering a “part time job” to perform “optimatizon tasks” to earn money, they trick people to insert money to earn more until they steal all of your money. Please support to close down this website immediately before more people are being scammed and have their life ruined

I have a very similar one from “Dr.Developers”. Supposedly an American company though I am in UK. Promising lots of earnings after 5, 15 and 30 days, for doing 3*40 tasks to “optimise data”. Have to deposit a small amount (100USDT), earn some profit, but then it requires you to put more money in to get your deposit back. There is an apparent “Whatsapp” group of other people who have also started with them, but they are claiming to earn ridiculous amounts of money.

        Here is another one. https://wundermant-map.cc
I got duped and lost a lot of money. I feel humiliated and frankly despondent. The first few days there was money then it kept asking for more. Because my rating was less than 100 because apparently I didn’t pay 100usd to get an extension one day they wouldn’t refund whole amount because there was what they call a negative balance. It’s almost ‘impossible’ to get four. Well guess what – I got 4. The final amount was prohibitive so I walked away but that was after already putting in way more than I had. Who knows if I would’ve gotten the money. The person who even trained me ‘paid’ 2500usd to liberate me from a previous negative amount. It seemed legit. The WhatsApp group continues to post earnings and basic daily routines and communicate with each other. Part of me wants to believe it’s not fake but who knows.

  • ANtonio 5 months ago

I was approached by similar way by another app boosting company.
Provided training giving some profit. Offering bonus on day 5, 15 and 30. Today is day 3 and I’m going to withdraw all money. this website asked you to complete 40 tasks and deposit certain amount, i want to recover my money.

I was contacted by WhatsApp by a person with a number from England. He said that doing 40 tasks a total of 3 times a day. When it will take 5 days he would pay 800$, at 15 days 1500$ and at 30 days 3800$. Making me earn 6100$/month.
First he set me up a demo account, in which I earned 61$, then he asked me to add from Coinbase wallet 40$ more to reset the task marker. From my money only 40$ came out. Currently I have 150$ after the first day, reading your comments, I plan to do the second day tasks only 2 times. And before I do the third one, block those phones and keep the money.
Lucky I found it before I got scammed.

Please add https://corelineapp.world/ to the list.
Scammer is John (he misspelled his name on his first Whatsapp account “Jonh Wallker” raising suspicion. There were various red flags, but I just decided to go along until they would requiere me to deposit a large amount (ie. I would risk losing money overall). This happened today, when my 800 “salary” was added to my balance and a combined task came up, so I would have to clear a balance of over 900 usdt. I think I have made 150-250 usdt overall, however. I’m really sad to hear people have lost money.

potential scam. app optimizing job. Approched by a recruter via whatsapp. App optimizing job. Things start to get very strange when you get a chance to get a sort of bonus. The thing is, you have to buy usdt crypto to top off your negative work balance first. When I came accross a third bonus where I could earn 6 times my earings i had to buy 900 usdt . well I didnt and left. To stay in the job you have to buy usdt once in a while. strange to pay for doing your job.

Same scenario, they show super order concept to steal money be careful. 40/40 apps for optimization and they increase the vip user level automatically and ask us to pay 15000 USDT for continuation. They use different wallet address and TRC20 Channel in blockchain for cash transfer. Be careful guys. I lost a lot of money.

Hoh, seem like I’m just before a being this scam victim. The page is foundryv.online
Approached by WhatsApp by recruiter, then by trainer. First 3 days went smooth bringing be profit of ~170USDT. They give 30USDT as the start but your day of work required 50. That was the first time I had to add to my account. Then the second day they already asked for 87USDT to validate myself. I thought is was worth the risk. So I added and withdraw my “salary” without a problem. Third day smooth with profit. Fourth day I supposed to be revarded 400USDT after completing the day but during third set I was asked to validate myself again, this time for 400USDT. That’s way to high to risk it. I decided to take the risk only to the level; of money I on plus, in work case I would just loos my profits. Now if I do not top-up I will be still ~60USDT on profit.

I am the victim of a scam in the name of the retailer 24S, being contacted on WhatsApp, on December 4, where I had a first discussion with someone who introduced herself as “Clara”, after which I was put in discussion with another interlocutor “Michelle” who told me somewhat presented the job and conducted an instruction, going

    through registration formalities, etc

Bizarre things started to appear from the beginning, requesting my account on Bybit, After the “activity” started, outcomes start to appear. The first interactions with the activity were ok, with benefits of 30, then 100, 130 USD-after which…NOTHING,

Little by little, more bizarre things appeared: At certain intervals, the validation of orders is blocked due to the so-called “luck” , called by interlocutor Michelle , a kind of reward that I did not understand at all, where I had to contribute to move on, with an increase in the bonus. That’s how I started the race, completing tasks, thinking that I would reach the end and be able to leave the circuit, but these continued and seemed to never end because I had to complete 60 “orders” to be able to close the set to be able to recover the money. The madness continued with the last blocked amounts of 5800 where reaching the end at the 60 orders validated, when I finally thought I could end the nightmare, instantly my grid changed and I passed on 65 tasks… I was told that it was an upgrade, that I was performing well, blah blah… I went ahead and in the last action before completing 65/65 “orders” ,the system blocked the phenomenal amount of USD 11,400 . Thinking to what I have received as confirmation from so called Client suport , I have payed the rest …but after payment . surprize : I am unable to withdraw my money , because may last order was completed in delay , and to unlock my money , I have to pay another 10500USD. I ‘m stuck now in they scam with more than 20000USD . I deserve the prize of *BIGGEST IDIOT OF THE YEAR”

**Honestly, I still have some reservations about the correctness of the 24S platform, although when contacted by me they denied the existence of such a service. Many reviews from customers say that this retailer has problems with the quality, delivery and returns of such luxury products.

  • Dominik 4 months ago

40/40 tasks and then You have to deposit 100 USDT to progress further and get another set of 40 tasks. Funny but during the tutorial round I earned 70USDT and was able to withdraw It to bybit so if I’d deposited 100 only 30 would have been lost.

the job task scam, finish two tasks a day and make money. I was up for real 2152.00 the first three days, I then put only that at risk, kept principal in my bank as my scam radar was up in full force. My task then went negative balance and to get to complete the 40/40 task and get my money back this being my profit i had to bring negative balance of -3700 back to zero. So i committed the 3700, but then it went negative again for -8700. Time to quit i got had for $3700. Lost 3700. About the same way 2 times 40 tasks withdrawn £128 every 2 days, first time I withdraw the money ,but when I did next 40 tasks it’s get-120 ,so the same amount I had to pay back or in to finish tasks. After again I had -2000 USDT . I don’t have money to clear it. She nearly every day texting me on WhatsApp. When you can do it, even offered to me, she can lend me half of amount I needed.

Hello there! Thank you so much for this article. I faced a similar scam yesterday. The workbench is https://sabio18.com/#/home/home. They asked me to finish 40 “ads” clicks for so-called training. After the 40 were done, he asked me to withdraw my funds (62 USDT) to a crypto wallet called crypo.com.
Then he asked me to pay 39 USDT to make up 101 USDT for another set and repeat. Thankfully I never used Crypo app before nor had enough money to buy 39 USDT. There was a 24-hour cooling-off period when I registered with Crypo.com.
My question is: Besides not contacting him any more, is there anything else I need to do to protect my privacy?
    Thank you in advance!
