Cybertrace is issuing an urgent mass scam alert for crypto scam websites / trading scam websites including forex products. Why? In a recent news report, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission’s (ACCC) ScamWatch has warned Australians to be extra vigilant. Reported scam losses in 2021 had by September already exceeded $211 million, an increase of 89% on the entire previous year.
Here at Cybertrace, we have considered how we might best be able to contribute to stemming the tide of fraud. As explored in a recent blog, our expert team has developed a free public cyber review tool for suspicious trading websites. We hope that Australians will start using ScamID as a safety check before making any online investment decisions. However, we also want to go further and unmask as many scammers as possible.

However, we hold strong intelligence to suggest that the vast majority of these domains are linked to fake crypto and forex trading. Furthermore, our extensive investigations have confirmed that many are definitely crypto scam websites are linked to fake cryptocurrency, forex and other trading products.

Initially invested 500USD in a bitcoin forex type platform. Terms were 10% commission to account manager was in contact with. Started speaking to them via instagram. After a few days, my trade stops, until invest a further 1100 USD. (So1600 USD all up) This boosts my investment to 22k b by the end of trading period, which was a few days. Upon requesting a withdrawal at the end of trading window, was told about a company tax of 2.5k needing to be paid before my return could be released. They advised as their platform couldn’t deduct the company tax amount automatically, they would leave my withdrawal application as pending, until I was able to pay that tax from different funds. It has been over a week, of them not budging, and not allowing me to pay out of supposed return generated.

The girl even put “money” into my cexio.io acc to trade with. The next time I tried to withdraw it was locked and was told to deposit more money to release the lock. This is when I stopped and realized. It looks real with verification and a customer support chat.

chanbit.io is a scam I was fleeing d.vo. relationship with my 4 kids & pregnant living in a complex with abuse everywhere, drugs everywhere, exposed to so much…& I believed one of those Forbes report( FAKE ONE) & a Facebook tag to a single mum in same situation & I then believed it! Spent $250 sign up like it said they had all calls from UK talking crap now I know! But telling me how they were trading my money explained to them even I was PLANNING ESCAPING DV WITH THIS MONEY FROM MY FTB TAX SUPPLEMENT & they still ran with it saying “how sorry they were” & they would work double as hard! Put me thru to”special guy in England calling from there with a exchange unit system set up or something? Now just probably a whole team of ppl ripping others off to, same time as me! ☹️ So stuff this I’m going to fix this! THIS Could OF BEEN DIFFERENT FOR MYSELF & CHILDREN WITH THAT MONEY! I got scammed by bchgloballtd.com. this is the first time that I am opening up for this because I felt so betrayed and humiliated. I lost all my money. I felt really stupid because of it. coinscaptrading.com is a scam. I was told to create an account by Kale Abrahamson or Kale Abe for short. He was talking to me through messaging on twitter. I told him I couldn’t work on his project of 2+2 Genesis yet, but I needed money first. He said he would help me. I put in $1000 at coinscapetrading.com and I have not been able to withdraw anything or actually invest anything for 2 months now. I was able to purchase a $500 package, but I cant do anything with it. I have had one chance to have an online chat with someone and that led nowhere. As of now I know that Kale Abe promoted coinscaptrading.com and now his project is promoted at opensea.io Both these websites are listed here as scam and I would believe that! Stay away from those sites as well as Kale Abe.
Kale Abrahamson also got me for roughly $5500 through his Maindapps.net website. Contacted Twitter and told them how he stole my crypto and they simply replied that they didnt find anything that violates there policy so he’s still on Twitter messaging and scamming ppl. How does he keep getting away with this? I have his address and everything and called the local police but still nothing was done. All they had to so was get a warrant for his laptop and that would have been enough evidence there. Sickens me. I hope karma catches up quick!

Same story as Oleg. A Lady from Singapore contacted me and I made an investment at BBTC. The App is still online at Google PlayStore. After 3 months the coins are frozen and there his no possibility to exchange or withdraw anything. Service of BBTC tells you to invest at least 5000 USDT to get back 50% of your invest and profit. Next you have to pay tax – 1% of the profit. After that all your possibilities to communicate are blocked.

Just lost 500 euros to sagatrade. And just finished a 25 minute long chat with their office manager in the UK. very pleasant man I had told him that I only had 5 months to live and he still tried to get me to invest with him he sounded so legit but I knew it had to be a scam because there was spots on the website that didn’t let you continue. But nowadays how do we know that you are on the up and up and you’re not a scam site hopefully you’re not but how do you know.
