Pri-Markets.io Scam Alert: What They Don’t Want You To Know

What Is Pri-Markets.io Supposed To Be?

If you’re thinking about investing with Primarkets, stop. Read this blog first. At a glance, pri-markets.io looks like the kind of online trading platform built to turn small deposits into serious returns. The website claims to offer trading in Crypto, Forex, Commodities, and Stock Indices from any device.

The website design is convincing enough for most, and the “expert” language and confident promises are designed to lure people in. But as we dig a bit deeper, that polished surface really starts to crack.

In this comprehensive review, Cybertrace will strip pri-markets.io down to its moving parts, explain how it hooks people in, where the cracks start to show, and exactly what they don’t want you to see.

Why Pri-Markets.io Looks Legit At First Glance

Pri-Markets.io is designed to look like a professional legitimate trading platform as soon as you see it. The home page states “Trade wise with limitless opportunities. Access award-wining platform with lightning-fast execution and next-generation tools.” They didn’t even spell ‘winning’ right!

“Limitless opportunities” sure is starting to sound like an unrealistic claim. But it doesn’t stop there, in the footer section it states “Primarkets is an online trading platform providing the world’s best environment.” What does this even mean? It’s likely that they meant to say the ‘world’s best trading environment’. Another unbelievable and unrealistic claim!

For the people that don’t read every word and look at all of these little details, the website design with the animation of the man watching stock charts superimposed over a city building does create the right kind of vibe.

The screenshots of their platform placed on the screens of a desktop and laptop computer make it seem real. Then the image of an iPhone near the heading “Trade Anytime, Anywhere, on Any Device” makes you feel like you can hold your phone in your hand and trade anywhere. This is exactly what they want.

Directly under that they list the logos for Wire Transfer, VISA, Mastercard, Ethereum and Bitcoin. These are trust signals, implying that they are partnered with these companies so you should trust them. But you shouldn’t.

One thing Pri-Markets left out is the fake testimonials that we literally always see on scam trading websites. They will use photos of people that are stock images or AI generated, a simple reverse image search can show quickly that these are faked.

The Red Flags You Shouldn’t Ignore

A detail we couldn’t help but notice is that in the footer it says “Copyright © Primarkets.co 2021”, however the domain name pri-markets.io was first registered on 27 January 2025. This sure raises a red flag.

In the footer they list “Primarkets LLC” as the company name, however a quick Google search and searches of international company record databases shows this company does not exist. Additionally, an LLC (Limited Liability Company) can only be registered in the USA but the contact page lists an address in Amsterdam, Netherlands. This doesn’t add up.

Basically, there is no company registration number listed…just a fake company name. There is also no evidence of any regulation by financial conduct authorities in any region. Red flag central! This kind of detail should never be overlooked when it comes to investment trading.

Actual users of Primarkets have reported pressure tactics, which is a telltale sign of a scam website. This is designed to catch you off guard and let down your defences, so you end up making decisions you wouldn’t normally make.

Each red flag alone might not be a deal breaker, but all of these added up together turns suspicion into reality.

How The Pri-markets.io Scam Actually Works

Generally with these kinds of scam websites, people will get contacted out of the blue via a messaging or dating app by someone who then spends time gradually building their trust. Our scam investigators see this same kind of behaviour over and over again.

Once trust is built, the scammers will then put forward the idea of a lucrative trading platform. They will convince the victim to sign up. Then it is common for the scammers to use a separate cryptocurrency wallet style website where they get people to send them their funds, with the belief that it will be used to trade on the trading platform they signed up on initially.

Can you see the problem already? If the trading platform was legitimate you’d expect that you could load your funds directly onto it. The “cryptocurrency wallet” platform is basically where they steal your money at the very start of the scam.

Next they will manipulate the figures and graphs in the user dashboard on the trading website, to make you think you are trading. And winning. But you aren’t.

They may even let you withdraw a small amount of money at the very start to make you think that you will always be able to access your funds. We see this a lot, it works – this is how they can convince people to keep transferring and in larger sums.

What Happens After You Deposit Money

They will often assign you an ‘account manager’ or ‘broker’ and their job is to keep applying pressure tactics so you keep sending them money. They aggressively upsell and give you access to “limited offers” that will give “bigger returns”. It’s all lies.

They will also try to convince you to make bigger deposits to “unlock” withdrawals. Why on earth would you need to “unlock” withdrawals with your own money? They will continue with these pressure tactics until they have extracted as much money from you as they think they can.

It’s generally around this point where most people start to feel suspicious and might try to withdraw their funds.

Can You Withdraw From Pri-markets.io?

This is the point where most people finally realise it’s too late and that they are in deep trouble. Their account manager will start to create delays and give excuses. Sometimes they will say there’s been a technical glitch in their system and that’s why a withdrawal has been delayed.

Next the pri-markets.io scammers will tell the victims that they need to pay “fees” and “taxes” to access their funds. This is just a scam within a scam! Unsurprisingly many people will pay the extra money, because they have invested such large amounts they really want to believe that paying more will actually get their money back.

This is where the scammers start to become harder to contact. The emails dry up, and commonly the trading website will get taken offline. They’ve got your money, and by this time the website has been reported and shut down. Then they will simply clone the website and re-open it on a new domain name and start the whole process again with a fresh set of victims. Rinse and repeat!

What Real Users Of Pri-Markets.io Are Saying

We searched the web for some real user reviews of the Primarkets brand, here’s what people are saying about pri-markets.io and primarkets.io.

“Primarkets it’s great getting money out of you. My broker was a likable guy with an English accent called Charlie Hall. And he promised me he’s gonna help me build some wealth because I have Parkinson’s but ultimately they got away with about $5000 for me and when I tried to get it back, they shut all communication down.”

“Scam scam scam👎👎”

“After the initial outlay i could not afford to put more in so wanted to receive my return BUT am unable to contact them – The Support email bounces back and the phone number goes to an answer mchine with no comeback – Have I been Scammed!!!”

“This is the reincarnation of the primarkets.io scam. See reviews on Trust Pilot (search Primarkets without the hyphen). Claim to be based in London. They offer fake CFD trading. Only way to deposit money into their trading account is through crypto. Once they have your money, you can never withdraw it and they stop communicating with you.”

“I’d vote zero if I could. I am completely shocked to have been scammed by Primarkets. Like others, I started small and invested big.I had what I thought was a good relationship with Markus Wagner for six months and had doubled my investment capital. It stopped suddenly last week, around Feb 5. I could not log into my account, their email didn’t work, Markus stopped calling. I have lost serious money. And he was such a nice guy. They always are.”

It’s very clear that there are many victims claiming they have been scammed by the Pri-Markets brand. It’s a consistent pattern that can’t be ignored. The red flags are clear to see.

Who’s Really Behind Pri-markets.io?

One of the most concerning aspects of pri-markets.io is the lack of transparency about who runs it. For example, their ‘About Us’ page tells no information about who runs the company, or who any of the team members are. Zero transparency = zero trust

Legitimate companies don’t hide this type of information, it should be freely available on the website. Additionally you’d expect information about the company and the team to be found on LinkedIn or similar.

This kind of anonymity is what you’d expect to see on a high risk or unregulated website. Pri-markets are doing their very best to hide all information about who runs the operation.

The Pri-Markets.io Rebrand: Same Scam, New Domain

Some quick research online uncovered many investor warnings pages and negative reviews about primarkets.io which is the original website the scammers used. As we see all too often, once a website gets flagged, reported and eventually shut down the scammers just duplicate it on a new domain name that looks similar.

This is a way for them to escape from at least some of the negative reviews with people searching for a slightly different domain name.

Eventually once pri-markets.io gets reported, flagged and has a lot of negative reviews they will get closed down and the whole process will start again on a new domain. Sometimes we see that the scam syndicates will even move people from one domain to another once a website goes down.

They can do this with ease because the two websites share the same user database, so they can login on the new website with the same username and password. They will just give some excuse as to why the website has changed its domain name, and people will want to believe it because they’re so invested financially. It’s very likely that this is the case with primarkets.io and pri-markets.io.

How To Spot A Scam Broker Before It’s Too Late

We’ve mentioned a fair few red flags already that should make it very clear what to look out for. First up you need to check if the company even exists, then check for regulation in your region. If there’s no legitimate company and no regulation, steer well clear.

Do some research, Google search for reviews and see what people are really saying about the website/brand. Check the website on review websites such as trustpilot.com and scamadviser.com, as they can generally give a good indication if a website is legitimate.

If you already signed up and get assigned an ‘account manager’ and they start with the pressure tactics, beware. Unbelievable claims like ‘guaranteed returns’ are generally a clear sign it’s a scam too.

Have a good look at their “testimonials” if they have any, and do a Google reverse image search on a few of the photos to see if they are just stock images.

What To Do If You’ve Already Signed Up

The first step if you’ve already signed up to any of the Pri-Markets scam websites is to stop sending money, no matter what they tell you. They will tell you that “fees” and “taxes” paid will release your money. It won’t.

Next you need to contact your bank and the crypto exchange you used (if it was a legitimate one) to transfer your funds to the Pri-Markets scammers. You may be able to get transactions flagged and get action taken.

Document everything, text messages, emails, wallet addresses, transaction IDs and screenshots of your account.

The next step is to contact Cybertrace, our experienced scam investigators and crypto tracing experts can assist you to uncover who stole your funds and help guide you through the process to recovery.

Can You Recover Your Money?

Let’s be clear, recovering your funds isn’t going to be easy. But sometimes partial recovery is possible if action is taken quickly. In cases where direct payments were made to platforms using a debit or credit card you may be able to request a chargeback through your bank.

Reporting the scam website to financial regulators and scam warning or consumer protection agencies will help to build a record of complaints that will be likely to help support wider investigations.

You need to be aware and extra vigilant about asset recovery scams. They target scam victims once they see them posting online about how they got scammed, and then approach them and tell them they can recover their funds. A lot of people fall for this secondary scam.

Also, what we see often is that the original scammers set up the recovery scam themselves! Talk about adding insult to injury!

Final Verdict: Is Pri-markets.io Worth The Risk?

Now that we have stripped everything back, the patterns used by scam syndicates that run investment scams are clear to see. When you know what to look for, that is. Promises of limitless opportunities and easy returns are easy to make, but impossible to deliver on.

Zero transparency, fake companies, no verifiable team members and no regulation. Not to mention the countless bad reviews from actual victims of the scam. If something feels unclear, unverified, or too pressured to be real, it usually is.

The verdict is clear that the Primarkets brand and all of their websites are fraudulent money traps designed to milk money from innocent victims. Do not engage with these scammers, stay vigilant.

If you have been a victim of the Pri-Markets.io scam, be sure to contact Cybertrace as soon as possible and we can assess your case. Our licensed scam investigators are recognised global experts.
