Tips for Staying Safe

  • If you are ever contacted by a phone number claiming to be a bank, contact the bank directly to confirm that the enquiry was legitimate. Furthermore, if you are ever unsure of a phone number, be sure to check it before you engage
  • Never, ever, share any personal information, including your driver’s license and more importantly bank details to a number that you have not verified is legitimate.
  • Keep a close eye on your bank statements to ensure that no unusual activity is occurring. If you ever notice anything suspicious, report it to the correct entity immediately.

Having this information readily available means you can efficiently identify the correct contact number to deal with any potential fraudulent activity.

As a general rule, the faster you act, the more increased chance of neutralising the issue you have.
